A Card, a Saint and Scenery

Today I have a VERY easy card that I made using an image from one of my Swing Shift Designs St Patrick’s Day 1 Collage Sheet.   You can purchase the sheet [HERE].   I used a couple of Spellbinders dies and a couple of vintage buttons and it was done!   Soooo easy!   Sooo fast!   I love it!

Today’s first freebie is vintage scene of a bridge in Harlem, New York.   I was kind of unsure about this one at first.   The color of the background foliage is a little too blue for me, but then it started to grow on me (no pun intended – foliage, grow – ha ha ha!).   Anyway, I started thinking about all the colors that you could match from this scene for the cardstock and embellishments and then it got interesting!   If you make something with this, I would LOVE to see it!

Today’s second freebie is digital stamp of the man himself, St Patrick.   You know, legend has it that he drove the snakes out of Ireland.   I could have used him about 13 years ago when a small garter snake showed up in my living room!   Ugh!   Very traumatic for me! :-(   Anyway, on with the freebies.   As usual, with the digital image I’ve given you the option of white tint, antique tint, black & white and/or sepia.   For the digi stamp, you have the option of jpg or transparent png.   Click on each graphic for a high quality 300ppi full size version and then save it to your computer.   Please credit SwingShiftDesigns.com if you use our images in any artwork, all images are copyrighted ~ all rights reserved.   If you need more info, please visit our TOU & FAQ page on our website at www.SwingShiftDesigns.com… blah, blah, blah. ;-)   Enjoy!

Thanks for stopping by and remember, the “earth” without “art” would just be “eh”! ;-)

St Patrick’s Day Freebies and Card Art

I have a very easy to make card to share with you today.   I used an image from our St Patrick’s Day 1 Sheet, which can be purchased [HERE].   I cut out the image and then adhered a layer of Pennywise Arts Ultra Fine Micro Beads to it using Pennywise Arts O’So Sticky Tape.   Then I used a few Spellbinder’s Dies and some patterned paper to add layers for interest.   It was very quick and easy!

My first freebie for you today is a vintage illustration of a woman with white tint, antique tint, black & white and Sepia options.   My second freebie is a vintage illustration of trifolium (clovers) in jpg and transparent png.   Click on each graphic for the full size 300ppi version and then save the graphic to your computer.   The clovers are just waiting to be turned into something for St Patrick’s Day!

Thanks for stopping by and remember, the “earth” without “art” would just be “eh”! ;-)
